DONT HALF ASS

You will have a half-ass experience of life if you show up half-ass. Have you ever said to yourself ”I just work here, I do what I’m told,” then that’s exactly what your job will give back to you. You will nevet be asked to lead or apply for a promotion or start something on your own with those words. You have conditioned your mind and those around you to believe that your contribution makes little difference….It’s time to stop.

FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT….

If you are constantly focusing on what is going wrong in your life, you will only find more things that are going wrong. Some days, when I would feel stressed, I stop and take some deep breaths and write down 5 things that I am grateful right at that moment. This is a simple way to shift my energy from stressed to I am okay.

REFRAME YOUR THOUGHTS WITH POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

If you think it, then it must be true, right? Nope! Thoughts are just thoughts. They only are true if we identify ourselves with them. If your thought is –  I’m not good enough for that job well chances are you will already be defeated when you apply….The good news is, a thought is just a thought and all thoughts can be changed! “I am good enough”

PRACTICE BUILDS CONFIDENCE

Practice and persistence win every time. A baby doesn’t walk on its first try, he stands, he falls, he gets back up over and over and over again, don’t give up. Just because it didn’t happen today doesn’t mean it won’t happen tomorrow. If you go at it long enough, it will happen.

ACCOUNTABILITY

You are the holder of your destiny. Own your power. Be accountable for your own actions. The blame game never helped anyone, but being accountable and deciding how you choose to react, demonstrates how strong and resilient you really are.
